Neiva Engineering is a mechanical engineering firm that works in the field of building services. We specialize in the design of HVAC and plumbing requirements for the commercial, industrial, residential, medical, and educational sectors.
Our mission at Neiva Engineering is to respond to the needs of our clients through the implementation of a collaborative approach during our engineering consultations. We are devoted to ensuring that our clients are always fully satisfied with our work, which is exhibited through our extensive experience in tackling projects of various size and degree of difficulty. FRANCISCO MENDES, MASc., P.Eng
OWNER & FOUNDER
As a licensed professional engineer in the province of Ontario, Francisco has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Queen’s University with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada. Being born and raised in Kingston, Francisco has gained a vast knowledge of the expanding and ever-changing infrastructure in Kingston and Southeastern Ontario. With over a decade of experience in plumbing and HVAC design, Francisco has extensive knowledge of both the ASHRAE standards and the Ontario Building Code. In addition to working as a mechanical designer and engineer, Francisco has a great deal of experience in the area of project management, from which he has garnered high praise for ensuring that projects are completed effectively and on a timely basis.
